Elizabeth and Juan, who founded DF Baila, gave me a run of private "bachata dominicana" classes. I'd been wanting to learn the style for a while and they came warmly recommended. They're excellent dancers and excellent teachers. What I appreciated is that they didn't just teach me figures and shines — they also spent time talking to me about the music and about the instruments that matter in bachata....
